What Nikola Jokic is doing in Denver this year is almost hard to believe. The starting center for the Serbian national team has been clinical in his efficiency.

He is shooting 63.2% from the field and 81.8% from the charity stripe, and averaging 26.3 points and 7.3 assists, both of which are big jumps from his previous career highs. There is a chance that he'll see even more of the offense flow through him for the coming five to six weeks.

Teammate Will Barton and his 16.5 points per game will be out of commission due to surgery to repair his right adductor. The Denver Nuggets will need to make up for that loss somehow, and it's not all going to come from Torrey Craig.

There is a chance that the Nuggets could run away from the Sacramento Kings tonight--they are 11.5-point favorites--but Jokic could still put up value even if he's only on the court for three quarters.
