Stephen Curry is best used as a tournament play tonight, as his outstanding ceiling comes with something of a low floor. The Golden State Warriors should have no trouble scoring tonight against Phoenix Suns, but we also may not see many minutes available for their starters if this game becomes too one-sided early. With the Dubs favored by a slate-high 13 points, that scenario is a very likely one.

Even if they do get out ahead for a blowout, though, that's going to come with plenty of scoring (possessing the highest implied total -- 120.75 -- of the slate).

Curry sits only 1.3% behind Kevin Durant for the team lead in usage (30.0%), and he's playing some big minutes so far, averaging 37.7 per game. As far as shooting volume, he actually holds the edge over KD, averaging 22.3 field goal attempts per game to Durant's 21.7, with 11.3 of those attempts coming from 3-point range.

We know that Curry can go nuclear on any given night, and his shot is looking as good as ever this season (his .627 effective field goal percentage sits just below his career-high of .630), so he's a threat to do some serious offensive damage against a Suns squad that has conceded 219 points over 2 games (109.5 per game) to start the year.
