Scrappin' With Wiggins

Prior to his lackluster performance last night, Andrew Wiggins was stringing together a pretty nice run of value, averaging 35 FanDuel points per game over his last seven for a modest salary of around $6,700. Coming up with a steal or two each night was a nice complement to his 18 points and 6 rebounds per game.

With the brawl going on in the backend of the Western Conference, the Timberwolves are going to need everyone firing on all cylinders, Wiggins included. It may sound more gamble than strategy, but give me Wiggins’ current form (sans last night) at his current price point to close the season in what requires tough and hard-fought games.

Minnesota takes on the Lakers tonight, followed by the Grizzlies and Nuggets (this will be a big one) to close up next week.
