Kemba Walker Continues to Swing

According to our numbers, the Hornets are likely to be on the outside looking in come playoff time, but there don't appear to be any signs of Kemba Walker slowing down.

As a top-25 fantasy scorer this season, Walker has moments where he’ll string together a few awesome performances, and we're in the midst of one of those streaks right now. Over his last five games, Walker is averaging 41 FanDuel points per game, and has reached at least five-times value in four of them.

While we’ve seen the occasional dud over the last month, look no further than Thursday night’s 46-point detonation against the Grizzlies to remind us all of the explosive scoring ability of Walker and his ability to go off at any moment. Not to mention, over his last five games, Walker is filling up the stat sheet by averaging a few rebounds and nearly 7 assists-plus-steals a game, while also getting to the line and chipping in there with an extra 7 points a night.

Walker’s price can get a little high, but his recent rate of production combined with the fact he’d be wholly responsible for clawing and earning his team a trip to the playoffs can make for a high-reward roster move.

The Hornets take on the Mavericks tomorrow night, followed by the Knicks and Cavaliers next week.
