3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 3/12/18

Ben McLemore has stepped into a much larger role for the shorthanded Memphis Grizzlies over the past couple weeks, averaging 30 DraftKings points in 33.5 minutes in his past five games. With Tyreke Evans, Andrew Harrison, and Mario Chalmers all still out, McLemore should again be looking at a lot of playing time.

McLemore's putrid 0.71 DraftKings points per minute mark on the year makes it a bit tough to pay an elevated price for him, as regression could definitely be coming. However, he has a healthy mark of 0.85 DraftKings points per minute without both Evans and Harrison on the floor, so he could easily reach the 26.5 DraftKings points required of him here.

If looking for a cheaper way to take advantage of Memphis' injury situation, Kobi Simmons ($3,900) has averaged 19.9 DraftKings points in 29 minutes over his past four games and could be looking at 25-plus minutes again tonight. However, even with Evans and Harrison off the floor, he has only averaged 0.67 DraftKings points. He has only topped 25 DraftKings points twice this season, so the ceiling is clearly capped. If looking for a punt play with a reasonably high floor, though, Simmons is worth a look.
