Our projections have James easily leading the slate in fantasy points and actually exceeding the 58.5 DraftKings points he needs -- 5 points per every $1,000 in salary -- to hit value at this cost. While that is a lofty projection, James has really been in ridiculous form lately.

Over his past 10 games, LeBron has averaged 63.4 DraftKings points and has a low score of 54.5 DraftKings points. That type of ridiculous floor/ceiling combo makes him appealing on an every-night basis, including tonight's matchup with the Detroit Pistons.

Detroit has done a decent job of containing LeBron this season, holding him to 45.5 DraftKings points per night in three meetings. However, on the year, they have allowed the second-most DraftKings points to power forwards and have been league-average against small forwards. James' Cleveland Cavaliers have the third-highest implied team total on the slate, and the spread is just six points, so the game script is close to ideal. Feel safe targeting James in any format if you can make the salary work.
