After seeing his price-tag creep up into the $10,000 range during his hot streak a couple weeks ago, Stephen Curry has cooled off a bit, and we're back to getting him with a nice low salary that really doesn't capture his upside.

His fantasy production isn't hugely consistent -- thanks in part to his lack of peripheral numbers, the amount of scoring options there are in Golden State, and the fact that the Warriors are involved in so many blowouts. There is definitely some blowout risk again tonight, with the Dubs favored by 12.5 against the Atlanta Hawks, but the Warriors' 119.5-point implied total is also the day's highest, and Curry has no shortage of upside.

The Hawks have allowed above-average fantasy numbers to opposing point guards this year, and they have been especially weak against the three-point shot, allowing the league's fourth-most made triples per game and giving up the second-highest three-point percentage.

The tanking Hawks also look like they're only going to get better as a fantasy matchup down the stretch this season. They rank 13th in pace on the season, and while it's a small three-game sample, their 109.9 pace since the All-Star break is good for tops in the NBA. It's not a lock that this is anything more than variance, but with a weak roster and the incentive of a high draft pick driving them to lose as much as possible, it makes sense for them to try to maximize the number of possessions per game.

Curry is obviously always going to be a threat to do damage from downtown, ranking second in the NBA with 10.0 three-point attempts and first with 4.2 makes per game on the season. While his lack of a floor makes him a shaky cash game play, his offensive ceiling means he's a great option in large-field tournaments tonight.
