3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 3/1/18

Justise Winslow has seen fairly inconsistent playing time since the All-Star Break, but with both Wayne Ellington and Tyler Johnson out tonight, he should see extended run. Derrick Jones Jr. has drawn spot starts for Johnson in the past, but Jones is in the G-League right now. Dwyane Wade and Rodney McGruder are both candidates to see extended run, but neither has the green light to play big minutes at this point. The most likely scenario is that Winslow sees around 30 minutes, as he did two games ago, when he dropped 37.25 DraftKings points in 29 minutes against the Memphis Grizzlies.

With a pedestrian DraftKings-points-per-minute clip of 0.78, Winslow is far from a lock to hit value, but at that rate, he would need just 25 minutes of action to hit the 19.5 DraftKings points required of him. That isn't even factoring in the matchup against a Los Angeles Lakers team that has played at the league's fastest pace and has allowed the fourth-most points per game.

Winslow has averaged 24.3 DraftKings points in the 12 games that he has topped 25 minutes in this season, which is a fairly realistic minute load for him tonight. He's too risky for cash games, but Winslow definitely has the upside to exceed value in an uptempo matchup against the Lakers.
