Chris Paul, PG, Houston Rockets

DraftKings Salary: $8,300

Chris Paul's price has fallen to the lowest point we have seen it in 2018, as he now needs just 41.5 DraftKings points to reach value. He's averaged 40.3 DraftKings points since the All-Star break and 42.3 over his past 10 games, so it is tough to say why exactly his price has been on such a sharp decline. Paul has hit six-times value at this price point in 31% of his games this season, a type of consistent upside that is unprecedented for a high-priced player. The next-most expensive player with a six-times rate higher than Paul is Draymond Green, who is priced all the way down to $7,200.

At his new price point, our projection system has him as the best value among players priced above $8,000.

Paul should have no problem reaching that projection, as he has both an awesome matchup and game script tonight. Revenge narrative aside, Paul draws a Los Angeles Clippers team that has allowed the 12th-most DraftKings points to opposing point guards on the year and the 3rd-most over the past month. This also is the second half of a back-to-back for Los Angeles, who is returning home after a three-game road trip, so fatigue could be a factor. As such, Paul's Houston Rockets have the second-highest implied team total on the slate, and this game is one of just two with an over/under above 220 points.

All things considered, this is an absolute smash spot for Paul. The low price point and any revenge narratives we want to draw up are just icing on the cake. Feel confident targeting him in all formats tonight.
