Eric Gordon, SG, Houston Rockets

FanDuel Price: $4,500
Projected FanDuel Points: 22.7
Projected FanDuel Value: 5.04

Eric Gordon shouldn't find his way into your cash lineups on Friday. He hasn't tallied more than 18.9 FanDuel points since accounting for 24 in a matchup on January 28th. That stretch of poor fantasy production includes a 14.5-FanDuel-point showing against tonight's opponent, the Minnesota Timberwolves. Gordon's going to have low ownership for all these reasons.

Despite the recent disappointments, he's still getting decent minutes and shots on a nightly basis. He's averaged 27.4 minutes and 9.8 shots over the last four games, with at least nine shots in each. However, he's shot just 35.9% from the field and 30.8% from three. Compared to his marks of 41.8% and 33.4% for the year, it's easy to say that he's in a slump.

At some point, Gordon's going to break out of this -- and now is as good of a time as any. He's enjoyed nine days off and is facing the same Wolves team that he put up 30 points against earlier in the year. But what it all boils down to is who matches up against him the most. Per NBA.com's matchup data, he's had his struggles in the 24 possessions he's been guarded by Jimmy Butler. Most of his possessions have come against Jeff Teague and Andrew Wiggins, who have had their own games of Gordon getting the best of them. So long as his shot is back on, Gordon is too cheap to look past in tournaments.
