Jarrett Allen, PF/C, Brooklyn Nets

DraftKings Salary: $4,600

The Brooklyn Nets have rolled with Jarrett Allen as their starting center recently, as they've effectively cut their four-man rotation at center down to just two. Allen has seen at least 20 minutes in four of his past five games, during which he has averaged 25.7 DraftKings points. He has topped 30 DraftKings points twice during that span, which goes to highlight the type of upside he has if given the minutes.

On the year, Allen's DraftKings points per minute sits at a quite strong 0.90 mark, which is up by 0.04 without Rondae Hollis-Jefferson. At that level of production, Allen needs 25.5 minutes to reach the 23 DraftKings point mark needed for five-times his salary implied value. That doesn't even take into account the incredible matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers, either.

While playing at the league's quickest pace, the Lakers have allowed the third-most points to opposing teams and the seventh-most DraftKings points to opposing centers. They've allowed more points from within five feet of the goal than any team in the league, which is the area Allen thrives in. Over 80% of his scoring has come from within that range, so he should benefit greatly from the lack of opposition at the rim against Los Angeles.

Allen is young and inconsistent enough that he may be a tough sell in cash games if you are a risk-averse player. However, he is clearly their most talented and healthy frontcourt player at the moment, and has a lot of confidence heading into an exploitable matchup in an up-tempo game that should yield a lot of points. He is an awesome tournament play and is worth a look in cash games as well if looking to save salary.
