Kevin Love (hand) is expected to be on the shelf for a few weeks, and that gives a big boost to LeBron James' fantasy value.

In the time that the pair have both been on the Cleveland Cavaliers, James has seen his fantasy production jump by 11.6% in games with Love not playing. We only have a one-game sample this season, but James was especially good when Love missed a game earlier this year, racking up 68.1 FanDuel points.

That bump doesn't come as any sort of a surprise either, as LeBron has been thriving with Love off the court all season. Comparing his numbers with Love on and off the floor, James sees a jump from a 31.1% usage rate, 10.9% rebound rate and 1.39 FanDuel points per minute to a 32.7% usage rate, 15.2% rebound rate and 1.61 FanDuel points per minute.

The King has already been playing huge minutes in recent games, with at least 37.5 in each of his last five, and the Cavs will have little choice but to give him plenty of run if they want to stay competitive with Love on the shelf.

Even in a tough matchup with the Miami Heat, numberFire's models have James as the slate's clear top-projected fantasy scorer.
