Anthony Davis projects to be the primary challenger to Westbrook as the top scorer on the slate as he is playing without DeMarcus Cousins and finds himself in a terrific matchup against the Sacramento Kings.

Similar to Westbrook, Davis' individual matchup went from good to great following some crucial injury news, as Willie Cauley-Stein's absence leaves Sacramento with absolutely nobody who can matchup with Davis. And it's not like they were good against bigs even with WCS playing. The Kings have allowed the third-most DraftKings points per game to centers and the most to power forwards.

Without Cousins on the floor this season, Davis' usage jumps up 5.1 percentage points, while his DraftKings points per minute rises from 1.35 to 1.68. To put that boost into context, Davis would be averaging 60.8 DraftKings points per game if he averaged 1.68 fantasy points per minute over the same minute load he's seen so far

With an elevated role and a very inviting matchup, Davis stands out as potentially the strongest play on the board. He is an exciting play in any contest.
