3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 1/29/18

Isaiah Canaan comes into this one averaging 24 minutes over his past five games, but there's a real chance he could push for around 30 minutes depending on the status of Devin Booker. The Suns have been starting Booker at point guard recently, but his status is very much in question for tonight's game. He left last night's game with hip and rib issues after playing 41 minutes, so it would not be surprising to see him held out.

If he does sit, there would be lots of minutes and usage opened up in the Phoenix backcourt. The Suns could elect to give Tyler Ulis more run, but he is the far less appealing fantasy option of the two as he has averaged 0.72 DraftKings points per minute this season, compared to Canaan's 0.89 mark.

There are several appealing sources of tournament value for Phoenix tonight, depending on who of Booker, Tyson Chandler, Marquese Chriss, and Alex Len end up playing. Greg Monroe ($5,600) and Josh Jackson ($4,800) could both be strong values, but if you're looking for a near-minimum punt play, Canaan is your man.
