The Utah Jazz will be without Rodney Hood, which leaves their bench a bit short on players who can create their own shot. Alec Burks is a prime candidate to fill that void, as he has seen a spike in his productivity when not forced to share the court with Hood. In such instances, Burks' usage rate is up from 25.5% to 27.7%, while his DraftKings points per minute have climbed from 0.94 to 1.07. Those are incredibly strong numbers for a player at his price point, as Burks would need just 15.4 minutes to hit five-times value at that level of efficiency.

He was already reaching that minute load with Hood in the lineup, so with Hood's 25-30 minutes of playing time unaccounted for, expect Burks to push for 20-plus minutes of action. That would be plenty to hit value in an up-tempo matchup against a soft defensive Atlanta Hawks squad. There's no need to go there in cash games, but Burks is a very intriguing high-upside tournament play.
