Darren Collison, PG, Indiana Pacers

DraftKings Salary: $5,600

Darren Collison is another mid-range guy you can target if you're looking for a bit of an off-the-wall tournament play. Collison is rarely a popular option and there are a lot of guards to like on this slate, so he will likely carry low ownership once again. The fact that he played 35 minutes last night is a bit concerning, but he has averaged 30.9 minutes and 29 DraftKings points on the back end of back to backs this season, which helps ease to concern a bit.

The matchup couldn't get much better, as the Los Angeles Lakers play at the league's fastest pace, which suits Collison's style of play well. They also will be without Lonzo Ball and refuse to give Jordan Clarkson the minutes he deserves, which leaves them with very few offensive threats at the point guard position. That may seem inconsequential, but Collison is often benched for Cory Joseph, who is a stronger defender. The fact that Collison will spend time defending Tyler Ennis, Alex Caruso, and Gary Payton II makes it seem quite unlikely that his defensive liabilities are going to standout tonight.

If we see 30-plus minutes of Collison, he should have no problem reaching value in this spot. He's averaged 29 DraftKings points in 30.8 minutes over his past four games, and this is a terrific game script and individual matchup for him. He's a bit too risky to look to in cash games, but is definitely an intriguing tournament option.
