3 NBA DraftKings Studs to Target on 1/5/18

There are also a lot of guards to like in the mid-to-elite price range, which will hopefully keep Eric Bledsoe's ownership at a manageable level. Bledsoe failed to reach 20 DraftKings in two of his past three games, so hopefully game log watchers are off of him because he could easily crush value at this price tag.

He needs just 36.5 DraftKings points at this salary, which he has eclipsed in five of his past eight games. His average during that span is 37.5 DraftKings points, even with those two duds mixed in. He has regularly flashed the upside for 50-plus DraftKings points, and in what is expected to be the highest-scoring game on the slate, that type of upside could be accessible tonight.

Normally, a matchup against Kyle Lowry is one we want to avoid, but that has not been the case with Bledsoe. He averaged 59.9 DraftKings points in two meetings with Lowry last season, and he dropped another 50-burger on him earlier this week. He has produced at least 49 DraftKings points in every game against Lowry over the past three seasons. That doesn't mean he is a lock for 50 tonight, but it does negate any negative connotations we might normally associate with an individual matchup against Lowry.

Bledsoe is an excellent tournament target and someone you could look to in cash games, depending on your risk-tolerance level.
