3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 12/12/17

Just under two weeks ago, Ersan Ilyasova posted 37.25 DraftKings points against the same Cleveland Cavaliers team he faces tonight. He then became a chalky DFS option, but he saw his minutes limited a bit in consecutive games against a Brooklyn Nets squad that prefers to play a small-ball brand of basketball that allowed the Atlanta Hawks to run more lineups with Taurean Prince at the four.

In three games since against more traditional teams, Ilyasova has gone back to a near-30-minute role, which should be the norm with Dewayne Dedmon and John Collins out. He's averaged 34.2 DraftKings points in those games, and it is quite possible that the Nets games were simply a poor fit for his skillset.

If we can expect around 30 minutes of court time for Ilyasova again tonight, he should have no trouble exceeding value at a price tag that requires just 26 DraftKings points of him to hit value (5 points per every $1,000 in salary).

It is worth noting that he has shot 16 of 20 from the floor and 10 of 11 from downtown over his past two games, which is obviously not a pace he can maintain. However, against a Cleveland team ranks 23rd in defensive efficiency and has allowed the second-most made three pointers per game, Ilyasova could certainly remain hot tonight. He is a strong play in any format at this price.
