Andre Drummond, C, Detroit Pistons

DraftKings Salary: $9,400

Andre Drummond seems quite pricey at this salary, as he needs 47 DraftKings points to reach value. He hasn't been anywhere near that in his two most recent games. Hopefully those performances keep his ownership down though because Drummond is in an absolute smash spot against the Denver Nuggets.

Denver isn't generally thought of as a team to attack with bigs, but with both Paul Millsap and Nikola Jokic out of the lineup, they have struggled on the interior. Without those bigs, their rebounding rate has fallen from 51.8% to 48.5%, which would rank 24th in the league. Over their past three games, they have allowed DeMarcus Cousins, Nikola Vucevic, and Myles Turner to average 28 points, 16 rebounds, and 60.6 DraftKings points against them, so the potential is certainly there for a huge game from Drummond.

Without Jokic and Millsap, Denver simply does not have the size to contend with Drummond. Mason Plumlee is their best bet, but he struggles significantly on the defensive end and has seen his playing time somewhat limited. Kenneth Faried is the big who has seen more playing time for Denver, even when severely overmatched by someone like DeMarcus Cousins. Drummond has a 4-inch and 53-pound advantage over Faried, and he should get his way down low against this depleted Denver frontcourt.
