As we discussed, Victor Oladipo's absence could provide a boost to those stepping in for him, but it could also impact the rotation players. Bojan Bogdanovic would be the most obvious beneficiary. In one game without Oladipo, Bogdanovic exceeded his season-averages with 31.5 minutes, 12 field goal attempts, and a 19.1% usage rate against the top-ranked Boston Celtics defense.

If you didn't already know, the Rockets defense is not the Celtics defense. They're still in the top-10 in defensive rating, but they allow over 4 points more than the Celtics do over 100 possessions. That puts Bogdanovic in an even better situation, and if that wasn't enough to sell you on him, the Rockets are allowing 21.4 points and top-8 production to opposing small forwards this season.
