3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 11/17/17

This play has a lot of risk attached to it because we really don't know how head coach Jay Triano will handle Greg Monroe's playing time in his second game with the team, especially on the back end of a back to back. The good news is we already know Tyson Chandler will sit, which opens up minutes for someone at the five, whether it is Monroe or Alex Len.

Last night, it was Monroe who was the beneficiary, as he played 26 minutes and absolutely crushed value with 42.8 DraftKings points. That is more than double what his price tag requires of him (20.5 points), and we have seen Monroe be a strong fantasy contributor in the past.

If we get word that he is starting again and won't have a minutes limitation, Monroe is a must-play at this price tag. It is unlikely we get that type of clarity before tip-off, especially with this being one of the last games on the schedule. As such, Monroe is probably best reserved as a tournament-only play. Be sure to keep an eye on the news coming out of Phoenix today, though.
