With a significant upgrade to the offensive firepower surrounding him in Oklahoma City this season, Russell Westbrook has predictably seen his workload decrease from the historic 41.5% usage rate he posted last year.

His 29.7% this year isn't exactly a small number though, especially with marks above 32% in each of his last two games. Adding help around him has also been a boon to his assist rate, which is sitting at a massive 59.0% (his 57.3% last year was tops in the NBA). His rebound rate comes in at a very solid 15.6%, and he continues to be the nightly triple-double threat we've come to know and love.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have been egregious on the defensive end to start the year, ranking dead-last in defensive rating. numberFire's models project Westbrook as the day's top fantasy scorer by over five FanDuel points.
