3 NBA DraftKings Studs to Target on 10/26/17

Blake Griffin, PF/C, Los Angeles Clippers

Blake Griffin may go a bit under the radar tonight, as everyone tries to fit Antetokounmpo and/or Cousins into their lineups. His DraftKings average is also a bit deflated due to a couple blowouts, which may keep his ownership lower than it should be. Griffin may not have the 60- or 70-point upside of the top two dudes, but he is looking like a near-lock for 50-point production when playing in competitive games.

This game should be just that, as the Blazers are 3-point home favorites. It also has the highest over/under on the slate (211.5 points) by 5 points, and both Portland and the Los Angeles Clippers have top-3 implied team totals, making this the clear number one game to target on the slate.

Portland isn't a bad defensive team and is fairly solid on the glass, but they simply don't have the personnel to match up with teams that have two stud posts. Jusuf Nurkic normally ends up on the more physical of the two (DeAndre Jordan), which leaves their stretch-fours (Maurice Harkless and Al-Farouq Aminu) to try to slow down someone like Griffin, with occasional help from rookie Caleb Swanigan.

Griffin should have no problem exploiting this matchup and is a strong play in any format.
