Victor Oladipo, SG, Oklahoma City Thunder

FanDuel Price: $4,900
Projected FanDuel Points: 28.8
Projected FanDuel Value: 5.87

Victor Oladipo struggled mightily in Game 1, going 1-of-12 from the field and scoring just 6 points, but there were some encouraging takeaways. He played 32 minutes and was allowed to attempt 12 shots, despite being ice cold. It is clear that the Oklahoma City Thunder need him to step up his game to take some pressure off of Russell Westbrook and will give him every opportunity to do so, even if he is struggling.

Also, Oladipo was bad enough in Game 1 that he saw his price dip by $600, to a point lower than it has ever been this season. He piles up enough counting stats that, even in a worst-case offensive scenario like the game he just played, his 19.1 FanDuel points wouldn't tank your lineups at that salary. If he is able to find his shot, however, he has the potential to crush value at this price tag.

Oladipo also should benefit from game script in this one because, even though the Thunder are underdogs, their 107.75-point implied team total is 1.2 points above their season scoring average, which is the largest boost any team is expected to see in scoring tonight.

The Houston Rockets also were the worst at defending shooting guards among teams on this slate this season, allowing the fourth-most FanDuel points in the league to the position. In four regular season meetings with Houston, he average 31.4 FanDuel points, so Game 1 was likely just an off shooting night.
