Isaiah Thomas, PG, Boston Celtics

FanDuel Price: $8,800

Isaiah Thomas has not wavered towards the end of his breakout season. Excluding a blowout victory over the New York Knicks in which he played just 24 minutes, Thomas has averaged 32 points and 43.9 FanDuel points over his past five games.

As long as tonight's contest against the Brooklyn Nets doesn't turn into a blowout, Thomas should have no problems continuing his excellent play of late. While the 10.5-point spread is certainly a bit concerning in that regard, Boston's 116.5-point implied team total is encouraging enough to take a chance on Thomas in tournaments.

That total is the second-highest on the slate and is 8.5 points above their season scoring average. The 222.5-point over/under is also the second-highest on the slate and is over 10 points above the next-highest total.

In addition to an uptempo environment against a Brooklyn team that ranks first in pace, Thomas should benefit from their porous defense. No team on this slate has allowed more FanDuel points to opposing point guards than the Nets.

Thomas has already shown the ability to put up huge numbers against them if the game remains competitive, with a 46.7-FanDuel-point performance against Brooklyn earlier this year.

Don't go into this one assuming Thomas is a lock to get 30-plus minutes because the blowout risk is certainly there. However, Boston is tied with the Cleveland Cavaliers for the 1 seed in the East, so they will likely be looking to do everything they can to ensure they get the victory in this one. As long as Brooklyn can keep the game relatively competitive, Thomas should be in the game to close it out.
