Isaiah Thomas has maintained his strong play recently, averaging 40.7 FanDuel points over his past five. He looks to carry that success into tonight's pivotal matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Vegas sees this game going well for Thomas and the Boston Celtics, granting them an implied team total of 112 points that is both the fourth-highest on the slate and four points above Boston's season scoring average.

Boston's implied team total shouldn't come as much of a surprise considering the way Cleveland has defended recently. They've fallen all the way to 22nd in defensive efficiency as a team after ranking dead last in the month of March.

Cleveland's defensive woes have held true for nearly every position, but perhaps none more so than their defense of opposing point guards. They've allowed the seventh-most FanDuel points to opposing floor generals, thanks in large part to the efforts of Kyrie Irving, who ranks 77th among qualified point guards in defensive real plus-minus. In three meetings with Irving this season, Thomas has gotten whatever he wants against Irving, averaging 43.9 FanDuel points.

Expect more of the same from Thomas in the final regular season meeting between these two teams as the Celtics gear up for the playoffs. He is an excellent play in all formats.
