Jae Crowder, SF, Boston Celtics

FanDuel Price: $6,100

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

The small forward position is actually surprisingly deep tonight, which should keep Jae Crowder off most daily fantasy players' radars once again. At the top end, all eyes will be on MVP candidate Kawhi Leonard as he takes on the Golden State Warriors.

Robert Covington is coming off a big game and should be popular against the Atlanta Hawks. Khris Middleton has also been playing pretty well and will deflect some ownership from Crowder in their head-to-head matchup.

Why You Should Use Him:

Crowder has been trending upward recently, averaging 31.9 FanDuel points over his past six games, with totals of 38.7 and 40.9 thrown in there, and he's averaged 18 points while knocking down 2.5 threes per game during that span. His effectiveness from beyond the arc is what we really want to focus on tonight, though.

Milwaukee is just one of eight teams to allow their opponents to make double-digit threes against them per game this season. They've also allowed more points to opposing spot-up shooters than any team both this season and last. Crowder has established himself as one of the league's premier spot-up scorers, as only Leonard has more points per game over that span. In his only meeting with Milwaukee this season, Crowder scored 35.2 FanDuel points and knocked down four deep balls.

Crowder could get plenty of good looks against Milwaukee's lax perimeter defense, but could be risky because there's a chance he won't take advantage. Given how well the matchup fits, he makes sense in any format, but if you're a more risk-averse player, he may be better served anchoring your tournament lineups and not your cash games.
