Dirk Nowitzki, PF, Dallas Mavericks

FanDuel Price: $6,000

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Blake Griffin will be a popular choice among power forwards with his cake matchup with the Los Angeles Lakers. Anthony Davis is also a favorite play at the position, no matter his opponent or price tag.

With Dirk Nowitzki rarely surpassing 30 minutes per night, many still view the Dallas Maverick as over the hill and not worth the mid-range salary. They would much rather take the seemingly higher upside of a younger Julius Randle, Tobias Harris, or James Johnson in Nowitzki's price range.

Why You Should Use Him:

Over his last eight games, Nowitzki has looked like vintage Dirk.

He is averaging 18.6 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 2.1 three-pointers while shooting 53.1% from the field, all while playing just 26.7 minutes per game. In five of those contests, he surpassed 30 FanDuel points and has produced an average of 29.8 fantasy points over the eight games. A number like that on Tuesday would bring him just a hair below 5x value with his $6,000 price tag against the Golden State Warriors.

The matchup with the Dubs will work to Nowitzki's benefit as the game should be played at a much faster pace than the Mavericks typically operate. The more possessions for Dallas, the more shot opportunities for Nowitzki. The Mavs' big man will also be matching up with the Warriors' biggest weakness, their frontcourt. Golden State allows the 11th-most fantasy points to opposing power forwards and 13th-most to centers. Nowitzki has split his time between the four and the five spot this season.

He should have fresh legs too, as Dallas last played on Saturday. The Warriors, on the other hand, will be playing the second game of a back-to-back.
