George Hill, PG, Utah Jazz

FanDuel Price: $6,300

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

The over/under in this game is set a disgusting 199 points, which is the lowest on the slate. As such, it's unlikely that many will feel the need to roster George Hill out of a loaded point guard player pool.

Why You Should Use Him:

Hill was playing quite well before going down with a toe injury, topping 32 FanDuel points in four of the five games prior to his absence. He only played 18 minutes in his first game back, but he returned to his productive ways in the most recent Utah Jazz game. Hill played 37 minutes in that affair and put up 39.6 FanDuel points, pushing his average to 38.3 FanDuel points in his last three healthy games.

While this slow-paced game isn't likely to yield much fantasy goodness overall with such a low over/under, there are a couple definite positives working in Hill's favor tonight.

The first thing working in his favor (pun intended) is the absence of teammate Derrick Favors. Per RotoGrinders' Court IQ, no Utah player has seen bigger boosts with Favors off the floor than Hill has. Hill has seen a 1.4% increase in usage and a 0.18 boost in FanDuel points per minute without Favors, which puts his totals at a 25.8% usage rate and 1.00 FanDuel points per minute in that split. The usage rate ranks second on the team behind Gordon Hayward (29.8%), while the FanDuel points per minute rank third, just behind Hayward (1.01) and Rudy Gobert (1.03).

The second positive is the individual matchup against Reggie Jackson. Despite a tough defense, the Detroit Pistons have struggled against point guards this season. They've allowed the ninth-most FanDuel points to the position, thanks in large part to Jackson's individual woes on the defensive end. Jackson ranks 82nd among 89 qualified point guards in defensive real plus-minus, and an individual matchup with him is definitely one that can be exploited.

Although he has shown exciting top-end fantasy appeal, Hill has shown the tendency to go missing on offense from time to time, posting six games with under 15 FanDuel points this season -- a pretty surprising number for a player of his ability and workload. He's made up for that with just as many (six) games of 40-plus FanDuel points, so the upside is there to make him an excellent tournament play. Just keep in mind that there is a chance he gets lost in the overall grossness of this game and posts a disappointing line, which makes him a tough sell in cash games, but that's also why he'll likely see a small amount of ownership in tourneys.
