Carmelo Anthony, SF, New York Knicks

FanDuel Price: $7,900

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Carmelo Anthony has been putting up fairly pedestrian numbers while battling a knee injury, averaging just 31 FanDuel points over his past four games. He sat out the last New York Knicks game with the knee issue, and it seems unlikely that daily fantasy players will want to take that risk on a loaded 11-game slate.

Why You Should Use Him:

Hopefully the rest helped cure the knee injury that plagued him because Melo has an opportunity to put up a huge game against the Milwaukee Bucks.

While Milwaukee's numbers against small forwards aren't terrible (20th against the position in terms of FanDuel points allowed), they have consistently struggled defending the perimeter against spot-up shooters. They've allowed the most points to opposing spot up shooters after ranking dead last in the category last season. The 10.4 threes they're allowing per game is the fifth-worst in the league.

This is exciting news for Anthony, who is one of the league's premier spot-up shooters. He ranks eighth in points and his 64.7% effective field goal percentage on spot-up attempts is the second-highest among qualified players.

In two previous meetings with Milwaukee this season, Melo has had no problem finding his stroke -- averaging 28 points and 52 FanDuel points. If he puts up numbers close to that, he will crush value and could vault you up the leaderboards at low ownership.
