Nikola Jokic had a disappointing game in his return from the All-Star break last night, playing only 25.5 minutes in what looked like a good matchup against the Sacramento Kings. That one-game hiccup shouldn't be enough to scare you off him, though -- especially with an even better matchup in front of him against the Brooklyn Nets.

Brooklyn ranks bottom-five in both defensive rating and rebound rate while playing at the league's fastest pace. Unsurprisingly, this has made them a very favorable fantasy matchup for opposing big men. The Denver Nuggets also own the highest implied total on the slate (120.0).

Despite Thursday's dud, Jokic has still posted 50-plus fantasy points in 8 of his last 16 games, and he averaged 50.7 fantasy points in his 5 games before the All-Star break. He averaged 35.7 minutes during that span, playing at least 34 minutes in each. It's safe to expect his minutes to rebound moving forward, which should mean big things on Friday.
