Myles Turner, C, Indiana Pacers

FanDuel Price: $6,500

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Myles Turner has by far the toughest on-paper matchup of any center today and isn't likely to see top-end ownership with Marcin Gortat and Kelly Olynyk hogging most of it.

Why You Should Use Him:

Turner hasn't been productive recently, but with Thaddeus Young and Lavoy Allen both out, he's been asked to log big minutes, averaging 34 per game since Young went down.

There's no way around it, the matchup against Washington tonight is not ideal. Gortat is a quality defender, Washington is a solid rebounding team, and they rank near the bottom of the league in opponent blocks per game. Turner was held to just 21.9 FanDuel points the last time he faced the Wizards. However, he has also shown the ability to post a big game in this matchup, scoring 39.1 FanDuel points in their first meeting.

That, my friends, is the reason to target Turner on tonight's two-game slate. He has arguably the highest upside of any center in play, yet will carry minuscule ownership. According to our ceiling/floor tool, Turner's ceiling per dollar is easily the highest among centers priced above $5,000. In fact, his ceiling projection of 6.09 times value is rivaled by only Jeff Teague's 6.09 and Otto Porter's 6.1 among all players with a salary above $5,000.

If you're into playing cash games on two-game slates, Turner is likely too risky for consideration because of the matchup. However, if you're making tournament lineups, it makes a lot of sense to take a chance on Turner's upside at low ownership.
