5. Steven Adams, Oklahoma City Thunder

After receiving a big contract (4 years, $100 million) in the offseason, Steven Adams appears to be paying off for the Oklahoma City Thunder and NBA DFS players alike.

Player Games Games ≥ 4.5X Rate

Over a total of 55 games, Adams has averaged 12.2 points, 7.9 rebounds, 1.1 blocks and 1.1 steals in 30.8 minutes a game. He's exceeded 4.5 FanDuel points (FDP) per $1,000 of salary on more than 30 instances and has proved that more times than not, he's been a solid cash-game value.

Fellow center, Marc Gasol, has tallied the same cash game rate (56.4%), but Adams has produced a range of 32.4 FDP, from a minimum of 11.3 to a high of 43.7. Gasol, on the other hand, has had a larger range of outcomes, with a minimum output of 19.1 FDP and a maximum of 62.7. So, while Gasol has a higher ceiling and floor, his production has been a little less predictable.

Money is also a factor here. Adams' salary hasn't wavered all that much this season, with a range of just $1,600 and capping out at $6,300. For comparison, Gasol's has differentiated between $6,700 and $9,000 for a salary range of $2,300.

Going forward, Adams should continue to feed off the passing of teammate Russell Westbrook, making him a reliable cash-game option on a nightly basis.
