Dennis Schroder, PG, Atlanta Hawks

FanDuel Price: $6,700

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Similar to his teammate, Dennis Schroder has shown enough inconsistency recently to keep his ownership down among a point guard position that has a few different directions to go.

At the top end, both John Wall and Stephen Curry find themselves in good spots. D'Angelo Russell is likely to be a popular option after putting up 47 FanDuel points in his return to the lineup and is $600 cheaper than Schroder.

Why You Should Use Him:

Schroder has played fewer than 30 minutes and has failed to reach 15 FanDuel points twice in his last three games, but he also has five games of 34-plus FanDuel points in his last seven. So, the upside is certainly there at this price.

He should benefit from the up-tempo nature of this game against Houston, who ranks fourth in pace and has allowed the seventh-most points per game. The Rockets have also struggled to defend point guards, giving up the 10th-most FanDuel points to the position. Schroder has taken full advantage of Houston's ineptitude in recent meetings, averaging 34.1 FanDuel points in two games against them in a full-time role.

He's far from the safest option at point guard, but if you want to pivot off the chalk with high upside, he is your man. Avoid him in cash games, but do not forget about him in tournaments, especially if you're looking to stack the Houston-Atlanta game.
