Louis Williams, SG, Los Angeles Lakers

FanDuel Price: $5,700

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

The shooting guard position has a surprising number of viable options, especially at the top end. James Harden, Giannis Antetokounmpo, C.J. McCollum, and Dwyane Wade have all been playing quite well recently and are in good spots.

If you're paying down at the shooting guard position, both Dion Waiters and Victor Oladipo will be on radars and should help keep Sweet Lou's ownership in check.

Why You Should Use Him:

Williams struggled in his last game, but that was thanks in large part to a near 50-point deficit to the Dallas Mavericks. He was red hot in the three games prior, averaging 37.7 FanDuel points.

As we just discussed with Lillard, the Lakers will be without D'Angelo Russell, meaning Williams will be asked to step into a larger role. In games without Russell this season, Williams has averaged 28.2 FanDuel points, up from his 24.1 point average in all other games.

Per nbawowy.com, no Lakers player has seen a bigger boost with Russell off the floor this season than Williams -- his usage rate has jumped to 32% without him, as opposed to 21.4% with him. He has also seen a slight increase in FanDuel points per minute, from 1.00 to 1.06.

In addition to the extra playing time, Williams will benefit from a terrific matchup. Portland has struggled to defend guards, allowing the sixth-most FanDuel points to opposing shooting guards and the fourth-most to opposing point guards. Starting guards Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum rank 80th and 92nd in DRPM at their respective positions.
