Andrew Wiggins, SF, Minnesota Timberwolves

FanDuel Price: $7,100

In 11 January games, Andrew Wiggins has averaged 37.7 minutes and hasn't dipped below 36 minutes of playing time in any outing. He has reached 34 FanDuel points in four of his past six games, including three of his last four. He will look to carry that momentum into tonight's fast-paced matchup against the Phoenix Suns. Phoenix ranks third in pace this season and has played at a faster pace than any team on this slate.

As a result, the Minnesota Timberwolves have an implied team total of 106.5 points, which, in addition to being the fourth-highest on the slate, is a 3.2-point improvement over their season scoring average. This game also has the second-highest over/under (214) on the slate.

Wiggins has played in just six games with an over/under that high this season, but he has taken part in 19 games with an over/under of at least 210 points. In such games, he has averaged 33.5 FanDuel points, up from 27.6 in all other games. In the 17 games Minnesota has been projected for at least 106.8 points, his average has risen to 35 FanDuel points.

In addition to a beautiful game script, Wiggins has an advantageous matchup. The Suns have allowed the sixth-most FanDuel points per game to opposing small forwards this season, and they have struggled to defend in transition. Only two teams have allowed more fast break points than Phoenix, who has allowed the highest effective field goal percentage in transition.

Wiggins has the second-most points in transition for Minnesota, and hr has seen his effective field goal jump from 48.1 percent overall to 63.6 percent in transition. He should thrive in this up-tempo matchup.
