Reggie Jackson, PG, Detroit Pistons

FanDuel Price: $6,300

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

After an impressive five-game hot streak in which he averaged 38.8 FanDuel points, Reggie Jackson has really struggled over his past four games, averaging just 19.3 FanDuel points in that span. As part of an insanely deep point-guard pool tonight, Jackson isn't likely to be a popular option.

Why You Should Use Him:

Yes, Jackson's play as of late has been horrendous, but there might be an explanation. He's averaged just 26.7 minutes per game over his past three, two of which were 20-plus point blowout losses. The Detroit Pistons should be able to keep this game more competitive, which should in turn mean more minutes for Jackson against one of the worst defenses against point guards in the league.

The Atlanta Hawks have allowed the fifth-most FanDuel points per game to opposing point guards this season. Dennis Schroder has really struggled on the defensive end, and his -2.38 real defensive plus-minus ranks 76th among 86 qualified point guards. In their last meeting, Jackson hung 34.8 FanDuel points on Schroder and the Hawks.

Atlanta has also been miserable against the pick and roll this year, allowing the highest points per possession and the second-most raw points to opposing ball handlers in the pick and roll. No player scored more points last season as a ball handler in the pick and roll than Jackson, and he ranks eighth in points per game in said category this season.

Jackson's recent struggles make it impossible to justify playing him in cash with so many appealing options at point guard. However, the matchup is perfect for the pick-and-roll maestro, and he makes for a very strong bounceback candidate in tournaments.
