Devin Booker, SG, Phoenix Suns

FanDuel Price: $5,900

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Shooting guard is also pretty stacked on Thursday, with excellent options at all different price points.

James Harden highlights the position and should be popular in what may be a shootout against the Oklahoma City Thunder. In the mid-range, C.J. McCollum has scored 78 points in his last two games and should see big ownership against the Los Angeles Lakers. Victor Oladipo has played well since his return and is the exact same price as Devin Booker.

With Oladipo's Thunder projected for the fifth-highest team total and Booker's Phoenix Suns projected for the second-lowest team total, most will likely side with Oladipo.

Why You Should Use Him:

Booker has been playing huge minutes with Brandon Knight banged up, averaging 35.5 over the past four games. During that time, he's averaged 28.3 FanDuel points and topped 30 three times.

His matchup against the slow-paced Dallas Mavericks doesn't jump off the page, but a closer look suggests there might be reason for optimism. Dallas doesn't play fast very often, but when they have been forced to, it's been a struggle. They've allowed the third-highest effective field goal percentage when defending in transition, as well as the 10th-highest points per possession.

Considering Phoenix has played at the second-fastest pace this season, Dallas will likely struggle to defend Booker, who leads the Suns in transition scoring.

The Mavericks have also struggled to defend spot up shooters, yielding the fourth-highest effective field goal percentage to them. Booker also leads Phoenix in points and points per possession as a spot up shooter, and should have no trouble exploiting the Mavs' weak perimeter defense.

Booker's scoring dependent ways don't inspire confidence with Phoenix projected for just 99 points, so he's not worth targeting in cash games. However, given how well his skill-set matches up with the holes in the Dallas defense, his upside makes him worth targeting in tournaments.
