Darren Collison, PG, Sacramento Kings

FanDuel Price: $4,100

Darren Collison also gets to take part in tonight's juicy Kings-Nuggets matchup, and his team's implied total (107 points) is just behind Denver's slate-leading total. This is a huge pace-up game for Collison and the Kings. A quick look at our Daily Fantasy Matchup Heat Map shows that Sacramento has played at the sixth-slowest pace among teams on this slate (94.3) while Denver has played at the third-quickest (98.1).

Collison also may be asked to step into a larger role for Sacramento tonight, as both Ty Lawson and Rudy Gay are questionable. Lawson has cut into his minutes this season, but Collison has shown the ability to put up solid fantasy totals in the past when given minutes. Collison has averaged 28.1 FanDuel points in games he's played 30-plus minutes over the past two seasons.

Collison also gets a terrific matchup against Denver, who is allowing the fourth-most FanDuel points per game to opposing point guards. He'll spend the majority of his day being guarded by Emmanuel Mudiay, whose -2.16 defensive real plus-minus ranks 74th of 86 qualified point guards.

To top it all off, Collison has thrived when playing in game scripts similar to this one over the past two seasons. In games Sacramento has been projected for over 107 points, he has averaged 24.8 FanDuel points, as opposed to 18.4 in all other games. If you expand that split to games he's played in with a 107-point implied total as well as a 215.5-point over/under, his average jumps to 26.2 FanDuel points per game.

On a slate full of value point guards, Collison probably won't get much love. However, his career splits suggest that he's worth a look in tonight's shootout, especially if Lawson sits.
