Having played with the highest tempo in the league last season, it has been jarring to see the Sacramento Kings rank 29th in pace this season, and it has certainly not helped the fantasy value of DeMarcus Cousins, who ranked third in FanDuel points per game last season.

Tonight's matchup gives him a great opportunity to reclaim some of what made him such a strong producer last year, as the Kings will be playing way up in pace tonight against a Los Angeles Lakers team that currently ranks third in pace.

Cousins' numbers per 100 possessions are right in line with where they were last year -- 41.0 points, 13.6 rebounds and 4.4 assists this season, compared to 37.4 points, 16.0 rebounds and 4.6 assists last season -- and our models project him as the top fantasy scorer on today's slate.
