Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics' combination of the league's 13th-fastest pace (98.1) and 29th-worst adjusted defensive rating (113.72) makes for 111.56 true points per game. The Celtics allowed 111.8 actual points per game, so they're right around where they perform, given their pace and opponents.

Most people came into this season thinking that the Celtics could reach the Eastern Conference Finals and would be one of the best defenses in the league, like they were last year. They've definitely disappointed on both fronts through six games.

They're eighth in the East and have given up over 100 points in all but one game in the early portion of the season. They've also been victim to key injuries to Al Horford and Jae Crowder, who have missed a total of five games between them. In fact, with both out the last two games, the Celtics have given up a total of 251 points to the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Denver Nuggets (at home).

You could target just about any position here, because no one has a better rating than 109 points allowed per 100 possessions this season. It would especially be smart to target the small forward and center positions -- with Horford and Crowder out until further notice.

Big men are especially intriguing, seeing that the Celtics rank in the bottom three in offensive, defensive and total rebounds per game.
