Jose Fernandez heading back to Angels' bench on Sunday
Los Angeles Angels third baseman Jose Fernandez is not in the starting lineup against the Seattle Mariners on Sunday.
What It Means:
Fernandez went 1-for-4 with a strikeout in yesterday's 6-5 loss to the Mariners. He'll be replaced by Jefry Marte in the lineup today.
Fernendez is hitting .275 with a .396 SLG and two home runs in 93 plate appearances this season.
