Matt Chapman batting second for Athletics on Thursday
Oakland Athletics third baseman Matt Chapman is batting second on Thursday versus right-hander Kohl Stewart and the Minnesota Twins.
What It Means:
Chapman went 0-for-2 but also drew a pair of walks and managed to score a run while working out of the three-hole in Wednesday's loss to the Texas Rangers. Marcus Semien will also drop to seventh from the leadoff spot and Ramon Laureano will move to eighth from second in the order.
numberFire's models project Chapman to score 14.9 FanDuel points at a cost of $3,700 on Thursday. Semien ($3,400) is expected to score 11.8 FanDuel points and Laureano ($2,500) is pegged for 10.2 FanDuel points.
