Jose Iglesias out of Tigers' lineup on Thursday night
Detroit Tigers shortstop Jose Iglesias is out of Thursday's lineup versus the Minnesota Twins.
Iglesias made an early exit from Tuesday's game due to a right thumb contusion, but he felt well enough to play and go 1-for-4 with an RBI on Wednesday, so it's not clear if this absence is related to injury or not. It's the first time he's been out of the lineup since the All-Star break. Ronny Rodriguez will fill in at shortstop for Detroit.
Iglesias is averaging 8.1 FanDuel points per game this season. numberFire's models project him to hit .269 with 2 homers, 15 RBI, 5 steals, and 18 runs scored over the rest of the year.
