Rays' Tommy Pham placed on the disabled list with a fractured foot
Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Tommy Pham has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with a fractured foot.
Initial X-rays were negative on his foot, but further testing uncovered the fracture. There is optimism that he may be able to return in less than a month. Ji-Man Choi will enter the lineup in his place, starting as the designated hitter tonight.
Pham is slashing .244/.332/.393 with a .321 wOBA, adding 14 home runs, 69 runs scored, 41 RBI and 10 stolen bases in 2018.
