Orioles' Renato Nunez starting at third base on Friday
Baltimore Orioles infielder/outfielder Renato Nunez has been called up from Triple-A and will start on Friday against the Toronto Blue Jays.
Nunez will make his first start for the Orioles with Manny Machado heading to the Los Angeles Dodgers in a trade earlier this week. Nunez is starting at third base, so Tim Beckham will slide over to shortstop. The Orioles claimed Nunez off waivers from the Texas Rangers back in May.
Lopez slashed .167/.244/.278 over 41 plate appearances with the Rangers this season.
