Yankees' Gary Sanchez (groin) to take batting practice
New York Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez (groin) will take batting practice Tuesday.
Sanchez hasn't hit since being placed on the disabled list June 25 with a right groin strain. Barring any setbacks, he will begin a rehab assignment at the beginning of next week and return to the Yankees' active roster after the All-Star break.
Sanchez was averaging 10.4 FanDuel points in 63 games this season before landing on the DL, while slashing .190/.291/.433 with 14 home runs and 41 RBI across 265 plate appearances.
