Starling Marte absent from Pirates' Sunday lineup
Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Starling Marte is not in the lineup Sunday against the Cincinnati Reds.
Marte is taking the afternoon off for the Pirates after playing the last nine in a row. Austin Meadows is moving over to centerfield, while Gregory Polanco is taking over in right field. Polanco is hitting seventh versus right-hander Anthony DeSclafani.
Our models project Marte for a .277 batting average with 8 home runs, 45 runs scored, 34 RBI, and 17 steals over 323 plate appearances remaining this season.
