Angels place Kole Calhoun (oblique) on the 10-day DL
Los Angeles Angels have placed outfielder Kole Calhoun (oblique) on the 10-day DL, retroactive to June 1.
What It Means:
Calhoun strained his oblique on Thursday and is likely out for a few weeks as he recovers. Michael Hermosillo was called up from the minors and is starting in right field on Saturday.
Calhoun was batting .145 with 1 homer in 185 plate appearances this season.
