Chicago White Sox catcher Alfredo Gonzalez is not in Tuesday's lineup against the Cleveland Indians.
What It Means:
Gonzalez went 0-for-2 in Monday's loss to the Indians and he remains hitless in the majors since being called up from Triple-A Charlotte late last week in response to Welington Castillo's 80-game suspension. Omar Narvaez will start behind the plate for the White Sox on Tuesday.
Gonzalez is 0-for-6 with 3 strikeouts in two games for the White Sox this season.
